PaleOMG! wow….first time I ever heard of this site was a recipe entitled:
Prosciutto Wrapped Fig and Onion Jame over Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin
I had just purchased some fresh figs at the farmer’s market and pork loin and onions are staples in my house (I think they should be in EVERYbody’s house!), so….quick trip to the store for prosciutto and we had dinner. OMG is absolutely right. YUM.
A little visiting into the site and I knew I was in love…with the entertaining ADHD writing, the recipes, and the FOOD Porn.
Last week a lady came to do her Elements class at CrossFit DSP. She was fun (“I just finished my Whole 2 1/2.”-It’s like the Whole 30 but shorter. She mentioned that she had just made Enchilada Stew from PaleOMG. I was in, I don’t know why, but I knew it was something to try. Once again, I had the ingredients and we had a PERFECT meal for a dreary rainy Saturday night. Everybody’s bellies were full and happy.
Bonus-it’s a crockpot meal-and it’s one of those recipes that taste better the longer it sits.
